Our Team
Avner Aviad
Avner has been active in software development in many roles,
from engineering positions to R&D leadership and from
entrepreneurship to senior management.

He started as an engineer and a senior software architect in
Borland International.
Later he co-founded Portera Inc, a SAAS startup in the Silicon
Valley.
Later he served as the VP of Engineering at Wanway, a VOIP
startup.
In 2002 Avner joined Babylon LTD as its VP of Engineering,
leading a major upgrade of its R&D processes and its technology,
shipping multiple new client versions, a major innovative enterprise
product and supporting millions of client downloads and large online
content serving. Later as the head of all engineering departments
(R&D, QA, Support, Product Management, IT, Linguistics), he lead
his teams through a period of major growth and an IPO in the Tel Aviv
stock exchange.
In 2007, Avner joined Dapper Inc, an innovative Web startup, as
its GM Israeli operations and VP of R&D were he made major
contribution to install agile methodologies into its R&D
processes.
Recently he has developed an expertise in mobile applications
development with special focus on java based mobile platforms and in
particular RIM/Blackberry.
Avner holds B.Sc and M.Sc (Cum Laude) in Math and Computer
Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Noam Etzion
Rosenberg
Noam brings with him over 12 years of experience in software
development and management in various start-up companies.

In his previous position, Noam was Head of Software Development
at InQuest LTD, which developed a highly sophisticated automated
trading system that traded US-based stocks, futures and options.
Before InQuest, Noam spent four years in Babylon LTD, maker of
the world's most popular translation software. In Babylon, Noam was
the focal point of a comprehensive redesign of Babylon's 'Engine', and
was responsible for both the design and the implementation of the
company's major software module.
Prior to Babylon, Noam was VP R&D in MTR LTD, a startup
that developed an innovative hardware & software system that
performed automated analysis of fetal monitors for women at labor. The
system included various elements such as Analog-to-Digital, Drivers
development, GUI and algorithmic modules.
Noam holds a BA in Computer Science (Cum Laude) from the
Technion in Haifa, Israel.
